W.Nr. 1.4306 is the ultra-low carbon variant of 1.4301 (corresponding to SUS304L), optimized for anti-intergranular corrosion. It solves the post-weld corrosion problem of 1.4301, making it the preferred choice for welding-intensive plate/coil structures in medium-corrosion environments.
